thanks guys, But i actually was able to use a set of lowering links made for an 04-06 zx10... they worked PERFECTLY, i cut the 3rd hole off and i used the 1st one, it slammed my bike and it looks great..now I want to extend it 6-8 inches any ideas????

Ok so i want to lower my bike (just for looks) but I cant find dogbone lowering links ANYWHERE, cant i just use any dog bone link that has atleast 3 holes? from bolt to blot i think my fzr is 5-5 1/2 inches (cant remember) i just want to make it one inch bigger from bolt to bolt to lower my bike 1.5...

thanks, i called my local yamaha dealer and they are telling me to leave it open...something seems fishy about that to me

Ok so i just bought my first yamaha 2 weeks ago and it would run great at idle and on the highway BUT at random intervals when i would come to a stop and go to take off it would sputter and bog so badly that i culd have the throttle wide open and it would be running at 1500rpm and puffing black smok...
